Your drawings
You keep the copyright in anything you draw. By adding a drawing — a photo of one, one drawn on the phone, or a creature you asked the AI artist for — you give Paper Reef and whoever operates it a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence, which we may transfer or sublicense, to store, show, reproduce, adapt, crop, animate and combine it with other drawings, and to use it commercially: in the tank and the gallery, on a drawing's own page, in posts, videos and advertising for Paper Reef, and on products such as prints, posters and T-shirts. We may do this with or without the name you gave the drawing, and without payment or credit.
Removing a drawing from the tank stops it being shown there and deletes our copy, but does not undo uses already made — a print already made stays made. If you would rather your drawing not be used this way, please do not add it.
If you are under 18, a parent, guardian or the grown-up running the screen agrees to this on your behalf by letting you add the drawing.
Only add what is yours to give: your own drawing, or one you have permission to share. Do not add someone else's artwork, logos, or pictures of people.
What is allowed in the tank
- Drawings of creatures, cars, monsters, anything a child could see. No nudity, sexual content, gore, hate symbols or rude words — every picture is checked automatically before it swims, and things that get through can be reported and removed.
- No photos of real people in the main tank. Private tanks may allow them: the person running the tank decides.
- Chat, where a tank turns it on, is for saying something nice about the drawings. No personal details, links, advertising or bullying; every message is checked first.
- The person running a tank can remove any drawing or message and block any phone from their tank. A device that keeps adding things that get removed is banned, for longer each time.
The service
- Paper Reef is free and provided as is. A drawing may not swim, a tank may empty, the site may be down, and drawings are let go after they rest for 30 days unless people keep them swimming. Keep your original; we are not a place to store artwork.
- We may change or stop any part of the site, and remove any drawing or tank, at any time.
- Creatures made by the AI artist and the pictures that dress a tank are ours; you may enjoy them in the tank and share the tank.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that cannot be excluded.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without affecting mandatory protections where you live.
